About
“Welcome to Black & White!”
If you’re reading the above sentence for the first time in your life, consider yourself lucky. I had the misfortune of reading it eighteen years ago at an eponymous hair salon. Shortly after, with conclusive proof staring right back at me, I formed my first completely logical and rational judgment: all barbers are evil.
It was then, I believe, that I started putting whatever life threw at me into boxes —either black or white, nothing in between. In this newsletter, I will continue my futile attempts to squeeze the unbridled colours of human life into the two most boring-coloured boxes, be it in the form of think-pieces, book reviews or even travelogues.

I’d love to interact with you! Do connect with me on Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn.

Promise
I’m grateful to have this platform to share my stories with readers all over the world (hypothetically speaking). Not long ago, I was passing around my short stories in a 192-page, long-sized, ruled notebook. So, I will ensure that I maintain the highest writing standards and engage in civil discussions with the community. If at any point it seems that I have stepped out of line, I implore my readers to educate me and I promise that I will follow up on it.
Support
Each like, comment and share puts a smile on my face and I have been told that I have an adorable smile. Oddly, even criticism puts a smile on my face. So, do not shy away from commenting why my piece ruined your day. It will help me not ruin days in the future.
Fiction
As of 7 Jan 2022, my decision is to keep fiction in my WordPress and use Substack for non-fiction. Depending on how my Substack journey goes, I might collate the two. So, until then, please extend your support to both blogs.
